Keeping up with the theme of celebrating excellence, this is the eighth edition of the Healthcare Excellence Awards (HEAL) this year by FICCI. FICCI HEAL has been an annual event aimed at felicitating innovation and improvement in the delivery of quality healthcare. The awards were founded as a joint effort between FICCI and the Quality Council of India in 2009 to applaud the works of healthcare organizations and professionals towards increased quality, patient safety, and bringing in technological advancements in various realms of healthcare services. The Awards have since become a mark of credibility and brilliance, and have emerged as the most coveted honor in the industry. Last year, the award was presented to Ms. Sangita Reddy, Joint MD of Apollo Group of Hospitals.
